The Day-to-Day
- Write and maintain code for internal healthcare IT applications alongside the development team
- Join conversations with clinical and product stakeholders when new features are on the table
- Investigate and fix bugs surfaced during testing, using each one as a way to learn the codebase
- Work directly with structured healthcare data and pick up how it's organized and exchanged between systems
There's a difference between an internship where you're handed a ticket and told to close it, and one where someone explains why the data field you're touching matters clinically before you touch it. This team leans toward the second approach, and new interns are usually paired with a senior developer for their first few weeks specifically so that context doesn't get skipped.
Skills to Bring
SQL is used daily here, so you should be able to write and interpret queries without much hand-holding. Healthcare domain knowledge matters too, along with at least a working sense of HL7 or FHIR, the standards this industry uses to move patient information between systems.
Nobody expects you to walk in already fluent in an EHR platform like Epic or Cerner, though prior exposure helps. If you've picked up Python for any data-related coursework, or touched a healthcare informatics module during your degree, mention it. It won't be the deciding factor, but it does shorten the ramp-up.
Who Fits This Role
This is an entry-level opening. No prior professional experience is expected. The team is really looking for a solid academic grounding and genuine curiosity about how technology is applied in a clinical setting, since that curiosity tends to carry people through the parts of the job that are still unfamiliar.
A bachelor's degree is required, and Naukri Mitra notes that computer science or IT is the most common route, though the hiring team said they'll consider other technical degrees if a candidate's project work or coursework aligns well with the role.

Sector 62 sits in one of Noida's more established commercial stretches and is reasonably accessible if you're coming from elsewhere in the NCR, though this is strictly an in-person role for the duration of the internship.
