What you'd be building
This internship puts you on real product work from week one, not a side project meant to keep interns busy. You'll touch both the frontend and backend of an active codebase alongside developers who'll actually review your pull requests.
- Design and build software components across the frontend and backend of the product
- Sit in on planning discussions with product and QA, then turn what gets decided into actual working code
- Review code from teammates and get your own code reviewed in return
- Troubleshoot bugs reported by users, tracing issues from the UI down through the API

Skills you'll use
You'll need working knowledge of JavaScript, plus either React or Angular for the frontend. On the backend, either Node.js or Python is fine, along with SQL for working directly with the database. REST API experience and comfort using Git round out the list.
You don't need all of these at an expert level walking in. This role exists specifically to build depth on the job.

A bachelor's degree is expected. For an entry-level opening like this one, what matters most is being able to show real project work, whether that's a class assignment, a personal build, or a hackathon entry, that touches both frontend and backend code. No prior professional experience is required.
