Microsoft Dynamics Developer

An ERP team based in IT City, Sector 82, Mohali is hiring a Microsoft Dynamics Developer for a full-time, on-site role, with pay going up to ₹89,000 a month.

The Work Itself

  • Implement and customize Dynamics 365 modules to match how the client's business actually operates, rather than forcing the business to bend around the default configuration
  • Sit with client teams to map out existing business processes before deciding how they translate into the system
  • Troubleshoot issues that come up during rollout, which is usually when gaps between the plan and the reality of a client's data show up
  • Provide support after go-live, since a Dynamics implementation rarely stays static once real users start relying on it
Most of this work happens in close contact with the client, not off in a corner writing code against a spec someone else wrote. If a client's warehouse process doesn't match what a standard Dynamics workflow assumes, figuring that out and building around it is part of the job, not an edge case someone else handles.

Skills Required

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the core platform here, and candidates need real hands-on experience customizing and configuring it, not just familiarity from a training course. C# comes up regularly for extending standard functionality, and SQL is needed to query and troubleshoot data issues. Workflow customization experience matters too, since much of the job involves adjusting how processes move through the system rather than building from a blank slate. Exposure to the Power Platform, particularly Power Automate or Power Apps, would be useful given how often Dynamics implementations now connect to it. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing releases, or a relevant Microsoft certification such as the MB-500, would also strengthen an application, though the team hasn't made either one mandatory.

Background Expected

An undergraduate degree is required, with information technology or business administration being the most common paths. The hiring team has said other technical or business-focused degrees are fine too, as long as the candidate's practical experience makes up the difference. On the experience side, they're looking for around 24 months in a similar ERP or business applications role, with real implementation work behind it rather than only theoretical exposure to the platform.

Compensation and Benefits

Along with the monthly salary, the role includes health insurance, paid time off, and provident fund contributions. Naukri Mitra notes that because this is an on-site position, the employer also provides relocation assistance and accommodation support for candidates moving to Mohali from elsewhere.

Location

The office sits in IT City, Sector 82, one of Mohali's more established tech corridors, and this is strictly an on-site arrangement, not remote or hybrid. Candidates already based in the Chandigarh tricity area will have the easiest commute, but relocation support is available for those coming from further away.

Applying

If you've spent the last couple of years working hands-on with Dynamics 365 implementations, this is worth applying for. Highlight specific modules or customizations you've worked on, along with any client-facing rollout experience, since that's what the hiring team will be looking for early in the process. Shortlisted candidates should expect a technical round covering Dynamics configuration and C#, followed by a conversation about how you've handled a rollout that didn't go exactly to plan.
