- Build and maintain bills of material and routing data so they reflect how products are actually assembled on the shop floor
- Run integration checks between PP and adjacent modules such as MM and SD, since a gap there tends to surface as a planning error weeks later
- Support end users after go-live, which in practice means fielding tickets, correcting master data, and occasionally sitting with a planner to walk through why a particular order didn't generate the way they expected
A good part of the job happens after implementation, not during it. Go-live is rarely the finish line; the weeks that follow tend to reveal the small mismatches between what was configured and how people actually work, and closing that gap is part of the day-to-day.
